Top tips on how to pass the CISA exam

Make the most of CISA exam practice tests

In addition to awareness of the exam’s makeup, it is important to become comfortable with the test’s formatting. That’s where practice exams come in.

Not only do practice exams give you critical exposure to the tools and features you will see on exam day, they will help to alleviate testing anxiety about the exam interface. CISA practice tests feature accurate practice test questions and are timed to match the actual exam.

You can find the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) abbreviated sample test here. In addition to this resource, it is important that the CISA review course you enroll in also offer accurate practice tests. Practice exams offer you the opportunity to experience real exam-based questions in exam-like conditions, ensuring that you’re prepared come exam day.

Study intelligently

Make Use of Existing Knowledge

It’s a total misconception that CISA candidates need to start from scratch when studying for the exam — it’s just not true. The CISA exam requires five years of prior work experience in the information systems sector or in audit experience.

Candidates should harness the knowledge they’ve gained through their education and work experience and seek out a review course that helps identify and fill any knowledge gaps. Surgent’s A.S.A.P.® Technology assesses prior knowledge and customizes course content based upon student needs.
